In response to the limitations of existing medication management systems, as well as his personal experiences as an oncologist, Dr. Gazi Abdulhay believed that a new and comprehensive solution was required to address the serious and growing issue of medication non-compliance.
Working with a team of engineers at Lehigh University, Dr. Gazi Abdulhay and his son Ali G. Abdulhay invented the Dispense-A-Pill (DAP) Personal Medication Manager; a patented medication management system that incorporates pill loading, reminding, dispensing and alerting in a compact, easy-to-use device.
Based in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, HealthOneMed was formed to commercialize the DAP and realize Dr. Abdulhay's vision of utilizing telehealth technologies.
HealthOnemed has developed a portfolio of personalized health management solutions to enable individuals to better monitor and manage their own health, provide peace of mind for caregivers and better manage healthcare costs and resources.
