Our History

In response to the prescription non-compliance problem, HealthOneMedm Inc, invented a unique medical device named Dispense-A-Pill™…Personal Health Center (“DAP”…”PHC”). DAP is user friendly but a comprehensive electronic medication dispenser. Its Easy Load feature allows the user to simply pour meds into a chamber(s); perform a simple program; and then DAP automatically dispenses the medications in any dose and schedule, and provides the user with regular medication reminders to take medications on schedule. It has connectivity to the care givers , with many other features serving a social dimension of the person.

As a senior class project at Lehigh University the concept was studied by three teams of students and presentations were made as to various methodologies. At HealthOneMed ( HOM ), an engineering team of consultants have worked on the DAP project for the past several years and have successfully produced many functional prototypes that have been tested on subjects successfully. The HOM facility has all the capabilities for prototyping, testing, and assembly with a team of engineers that combines over sixty years of experience. The alpha and beta testing have been completed successfully.

In February 2005 HealthOneMed(“HOM”) was formed to begin the commercialization of the DAP products. During this period DAP’s potential markets and capabilities were expanded to include data collection systems and plug-in home health devices (e.g. vital signs, EKG and others). HOM has developed a DAP rollout strategy to reach individuals in need of such assistance through various channels; distributors, independent living facilities and media.
